Paralleling Reels

Wire Barreling

We use fiber 24in, 32in and 43in barrels. Easy method to determine what fits into a barrel is to know the max and divide it by the number of conductors to determine your max length or divide it by the length to determine max conductors.

#14 - max of 50,000ft/43in barrel

#12 - max of 30,000ft/43in barrel

#10 - max of 20,000ft/43in barrel

We are capable of doing barrel layering if requested using cardboard dividers with leader from previous layer poked through, so it pulls up and out easily (both leader and carboard divider). Barreling cost will vary depending on amount and complexity.

Wire Striping & Labeling

Wire Striping - With code changes and the need to match home run colors with neutrals, striping is a great way to do it. We can match any color with one, two or three spiral stripes. Able to stripe with all standard colors (non-slick wire only). Special applications can be done with up to three different colored spiraled stripes.

Wire Labeling - With wire labeling you can eliminate the guessing which wire you have in your hand or the need to ring out every wire and then apply expensive labor-intensive paper labels. Wire Labeling allows you to easily identify your circuit wire when dealing with large numbers of identical color and sized wires.

• Able to label with black or white lettering on #16 thru #10.
• Labeling on both regular and no-lube wire.
• Labeling is spaced every 2-3 inches depending on length of label applied.
• character limit is not limited, just changes spacing.
• Able to label on control cables such as Belden 8760, Cat5, shielded cables, fire alarm cable and extension cords.
• Labeling cost varies with amount/complexity.
